Mahina Made at Makapu’u

I purchased this sweater for myself at the Made in Hawai’i festival and I kept it in the original wrapper until I used it on a hike with my hula sisters.
On the morning of the hike to the top of Makapu’u the temperature was about 76 degrees (brrrr).
The sweater was the perfect top for the 5:30am hike, and kept me warm as we climbed to the summit and greeted the sun as it creeped up the skyline.
I purchased an XL sweater and it fit me perfectly with ample room for movement. I normally wear a size 16 and I am 5’6”.

I had a friend pick this up for me at the made in Hawaii festival. I purchased it for my mom! I loved the color, it’s alittle different from the picture, but in a good way!! I wish i got one for myself!

I know this sweater had some improvements from the first sweaters that were created, but honestly, i really liked the firsts sweaters as they were. I have the brown plumeria sweater and i love the fit. The new sweaters are more tight at the bottom. Definately size down if your are in between sizes. I’m a size XS and S (5ft tall and 126Ibs). I ordered a XS and it was perfect. These run oversized.
