Ni'ihau Shell Lei are widely known and treasured. These shells can only be found on the shores of Ni'ihau and treasured artisans use skills passed down to create exquisite lei. If you've ever seen or are blessed enough to own a Ni'ihau shell lei, you know just how special they are.

We dedicate this design to Queen Kapi'olani. In 1887, she wore a multi-strand lei of ivory-colored Ni'ihau shells for her portrait in New York before attending Queen Victoria's Jubilee. To honor this fusion of Hawaiian tradition and Victorian style, we've created this special design that pays homage to Queen Kapi'olani and her iconic portrait and celebrates the enduring beauty and cultural significance of the Ni'ihau
