Shipping policy

We offer insurance against lost, stolen, and/or damaged packages through Route. If you choose to insure your order with Route, you will receive a full replacement if your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. Route is automatically added to your order, however you can opt out. If you opt out, your package will not be insured.

We ship to anywhere within the US.

Internationally, we ship to Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Germany.

If your order includes items that are ALL in stock, it will ship out within 7 business days. Although, we do our best to mail it out sooner if we can!

If your order includes any items that are made-to-order OR for preorder, please read the individual listing descriptions to see when these items will ship.

*All items in an order ship together.  So, if you order some items that are in stock and some items that are made to order/preorder, your entire order will ship when ALL items are ready.

Once shipped, most domestic orders are received within 3-7 days after mail date.  Actual delivery time will be determined by the shipping method chosen by the purchaser.  Each order has a tracking number that will be included with the shipping confirmation email.  Please follow this tracking number to receive updates.

Mahina Made is not responsible for delayed or missing packages once shipped.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.  Mahina Made is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Oh no!  We will do our best to help, but unfortunately, once the packages leave our possession and enter the USPS system, they are out of our control.  Here are some tips:

check all areas where it could have been delivered to

check with your neighbors, others who live in your household to see if they saw it (sometimes they pick up the mail without you knowing)

give USPS a few days (sometimes they mark a package as 'delivered', but don't actually deliver it for a couple days)

inquire with your postman or local post office and let them know the issue

file a claim if it still not found

The short answer is no.

On launch days, we do not combine shipping costs.  Often times, customers will make multiple orders in order to ensure they secure certain items before they sell out.  You are more than welcome to do this, but please understand all orders are shipped separately and shipping costs cannot be combined.  It is impossible for us to manually go through and combine orders/adjust shipping costs.  It is also unfair to those customers who do take the risk to get all their items in one order!

Once a package has left our possession and has entered the mail carrier's system, the only information we have is the provided tracking number. Mahina Made cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damages once a package has left our possession and is with the designated mail carrier. We understand the frustration and annoyance that comes with missing packages and we are happy to assist you throughout the process of locating your package as best we can.

Returns and exchanges

We offer returns for store credit only.  We do not offer refunds or exchanges (instead, please place a new order once you receive the store credit).  We accept returns within 10 days of receiving your package. Store credit may not be used towards shipping.  Please note, we do not refund your order's shipping costs.

Inventory

You can visit any of our retail stores to see what they may be carrying at this time. Please note that no items are guaranteed and if you are looking for something specific, it is best to reach out to them to see what they have in stock. Here is a list of the retailers that carry our brand.

You can also shop with us in person at our only event of the year, Ho'omau Hawai'i Market. Follow the event website to see when the next market is!

Our products are made in relatively small batches and don't always get restocked.

If you want to be notified when a restock happens, you can check the individual product page. If you see a button that says 'Notify me when item is in stock', go ahead and click on it and enter your email address. We will send you an email when a restock happens.

If an item is out of stock and you don't see this button on the product page, there is a high chance that it won't be coming back.

Occasionally, we offer the preorder option for certain bestseller items.  This allows everyone who would like to order these items, the opportunity to purchase it without it selling out.

Preorders ensure that you will receive the item(s), however it does not ensure a certain timeframe for them to reach you.

There will be an estimated delivery date of when these items will be ready to ship, BUT THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES.  They may be shipped sooner or later depending on unforeseeable delays with manufacturing and shipping.  

Once you place a preorder, you may not cancel or alter your order as it is already in the manufacturing queue.  

Our tees are 100% made in the US from beginning to end. They are cut, sewn, dyed, and printed exclusively for us.
