I fell in love with the art created on the sweatshirt; for me, it dipicts one of the most Beautiful, intricately sewn shell leis I've ever seen. I once years ago,, did encounter a striking woman from Niihau wearing graduated layers of bright, colorful Niihau shell leis & bracelets in all of her glory. The natural colors of reds, pinks, yellows, & blue shells amongst other colors is what amazes me. I will say
the Leis artfully created in the sweatshirt look every bit as colorful, bright & authentic
as the shells found on the shores of Niihau

I first bought the lei onaona sweatshirt for a trip. While waiting for my luggage at the baggage claim area, I saw another local wahine wearing the lei pūpū sweatshirt and it looked stunning. I had to have it especially for this unusual cold weather here on Maui. I love another Mahina Made sweatshirt!
