I designed the first edition back in 2018. At the time, I couldn't find a planner that checked all the boxes for what I wanted - cute Hawaiian/local illustrations, simple Hawaiian language phrases, a layout where I could be fancy or basic in, and something undated so I didn't feel pressured to use it every single month in a row. So, I created it. Every year since then, I've come out with a new edition and they've sold so well. It turns out there are a LOT of people who were looking for the same type of planner. They make great gifts and there is no pressure to use it during a calendar year, an academic year, or even month after month because they are undated. Nā Lā Maika'i translates to "The Good Days".

Superb quality

damaged & bent

This is the fifth Mahina Made planner I've purchased, and in the past, they've arrived in pristine condition. However, when I opened the box (which didn't have any signs of mishandling) for this edition, the planner was already bent inside its plastic wrapping. The front and back covers are warped, and the majority of the pages have creases. Hoping the quality of the next edition will improve.
